The Trial
The trial is very important as this is the time when you can see exactly what you will have done on the day. You will be able to try out a few different looks and put your mind at rest about what we will do on your wedding day. Bridal hair up, bridesmaids, mother of the bride and maid of honour hair styles may be created from either your own hair or hair pieces. A trial hair up must be done before the wedding day. It is not necessary for bridesmaids to have trials but recommended.
Pre-Trial advice
Preferably have all hair accessories (Tiaras, veils, flowers) and hair pieces (if you are supplying your own) available. Never shampoo and condition your hair on the day of the wedding or the trial, unless stated overwise by the stylist, as hair will not stay up if it is too clean. If possible bring a picture of your wedding dress as this will give us an idea of the final look.

Q. Where do you travel to?
A. We cover Keighley and surrounding areas but travel to any location. Travel fees varies on the distance. Trials are done in the salon and we will travel to you on the day of your wedding.

Q. Do you come to my home on the day and/or for trials?
A. Yes, we can travel to you on the day of your wedding. Travel fees varies on the distance. Trials are done in salon as we have easy access to all the equipment that we may need.

Q.Why do I need a trial-run?
A. It’s important to see how you will look for yourself and for us. Allow 1-3 hours, you may try a variety of different looks.

Q. How soon before the wedding should I book a trial-run?
A. Due to volume of enquiries it is wise to have a trial as soon as possible; bookings can be taken up to a year ahead and no later than 4 weeks before the wedding.

Q. Should my make-up be done after my hair is styled?
A. Yes, it is best that your make-up is applied last so it still looks fresh.

Q. How can I secure my wedding date in your diary?
A. Contact us with the details of your wedding and place a deposit of £30 (per person) which will secure a trial date and also place a hold on your wedding date. If after the trial you wish to go ahead, the final balance will be due. Deposit is non refundable and will be deducted from your final amount.

Q. I am getting married in only two weeks time and need a hair/make-up artist but might have left it too late. Can you help?
A. We have contacts that are dedicated for hair up and make-up and are often able to provide someone at short notice. Give us a call as soon as possible to discuss your requirements.

Q. When and how should I pay the final balance?
A.The balance is due after your trial by cash or credit/debit card direct at the salon. Sorry, we are unable to accept cheques or over the phone payments.

Q. What if I decide to cancel my booking?
A. You must notify us of your cancellation in writing within 30 days prior to the wedding date. Please note that the booking fee is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. Should you cancel within 30 days leading up to the wedding date an additional 50% fee will be charged.

Q. How long does it take to do my hair/make-up on the day?
A. It varies but on average it takes about 1 ½ hours to do hair and make-up for each person.

Q. What if the stylist and/or make-up artist is ill on my wedding day?
A. In this unlikely event, we have contacts who are qualified in hair and make-up. Every step would be taken to ensure the stylist and/or make-up artist are fully aware of your wedding day requirements.

Q. I intend to have 6 bridesmaids at my wedding, all whom will need hair and make-up. Can you do this?
A. With advance notice there is no limit to the number of people we will makeover. We can supply a team of artists if needed.
